National Farmers Federation – Parts of NSW still in the grips of drought & vegan activists target farmers

Mike Jeffreys

Michael is joined by Tony Mahar, National Farmers’ Federation Chief Executive Officer to talk about the on-going plight of the farmer.

According to the government in New South Wales, the state continues to experience prolonged and wide-spread drought conditions despite some pretty good rainfall in March.

There are some signs of progress but there are areas that just remain in intense drought and drought categories… the far west, north west… as well as parts of central New South Wales.

Farms are doing it tough and of course now on top of this they have to content with ‘vegan terrorists’ trying to invade the abattoirs and liberate the animals using a brand of reckless criminal behaviour that poses significant risks to the safety of staff and the extremists themselves.
