Nathan Brown: “Every Club I’ve Been At I’ve Left in a Better Spot”

Continuous Call Team

Incoming Warriors coach Nathan Brown is excited by what is considered one of the most challenging coaching gigs in rugby league.
“Getting back into it after a year…I’m looking forward to it”.

Brown acknowledges the need to develop some young players and have some success in the recruitment market so they can put together a capable and consistent top eight side.

“Every club I’ve been at I think I’ve left in a much better spot from when I got there. Hopefully, the worst case is we can do that at the Warriors, but the ultimate goal is you want to win”.

On the role of Phil Gould, Brown says “I think Gus’s main role is to bring everything together and set up a similar type of academy like he did at Penrith. It’s not only to benefit the Warriors, it’s to benefit all Pacific nations players based out of there”.
