Mitsubishi’s ASX SUV – our top-selling small SUV by a country mile

Motor Torque

Mitsubishi freshened in small ASX SUV last year with some welcome updates –and our top-selling small SUV has really hit a sweet spot with buyers. The five model 2WD range kicking off with the
manual 2.0-litre petrol ES model at $23,990 drive-away with CVT automatic adding $2,000. Now with minor front and rear styling updates and LED daytime running lights. – the entry ES now featuring a reversing camera, cruise control and 18 inch alloy wheels, emergency brake assist, and a range of active safety features. Value for money wise one can understand why in the first two months of this year the Mitsubishi ASX outsold its nearest competitor, the Mazda CX-3, nearly 2 to 1. The automatic ES model at $25,990 drive-away is exceptional value, a really nice driver currently with a 7-year/150,000km warranty 2-years free servicing and $1,000 in free accessories making it one of the great buys currently in the new vehicle market. It doesn’t get much better. I’m David Berthon
