Michael is joined by Michael Sexton SC, Solicitor General for New South Wales, to discuss his Australian Newspaper article around the ongoing Israel Folau case.
Mr Sexton wrote yesterday, ‘although probably still unfinished as a legal saga, demonstrates that highly paid sportsmen and sportswomen — and, realistically, almost any employee — can have their actions, including public statements, so closely confined by their contract of employment that the notion of freedom of speech is essentially inapplicable to them.”
