On the day of Bob Fulton’s passing, his beloved Sea Eagles defeated Parramatta at Bankwest Stadium. Manly CEO Stephen Humphreys said “Bob deserved nothing less”.

“Just an iconic figure of our club and the game of rugby league generally. Very sad news today and we’re all completely shocked by it. He’ll be very sorely missed”.

“A lot of those young boys, (Bob) was instrumental in bringing them to the club, convincing them that this was the best place to play their footy. We are forever grateful for that”.

“I rang Des while he was on the bus to tell him the sad news, and he was visibly shaken”.
