Let’s Talk Business thanks to Judo Bank: Warren Hogan & Angelo Manos

Confidence is returning among Australian SMEs as lockdowns lift and trading resumes.

Warren Hogan, Judo Bank’s chief Economic Advisor, says there are plenty of reasons to feel confident about how the economy will perform in the lead up to Christmas and into the new year.

“I’m pretty confident with the economy bouncing strong, and next year should be one of the strongest economies we’ve seen,” he said.

While confidence is crucial, so is access to finance – yet one in four SMEs cannot get access to crucial funding.

Angelo Manos, Judo Bank’s Chief Relationship Officer, says Judo is committed to closing the funding gap.

“Nearly half of Australia’s SMEs are looking to grow their business, hire more staff, and invest in expansion despite the uncertainty of COVID,” he said.
