King Charles to be removed from $5 notes – what about our coins?

In a breakaway from tradition, the RBA has announced the new $5 dollar note will not feature the face of King Charles III to replace Queen Elizabeth II.

Instead, they’ve chosen to recognise the history and culture of Aboriginal Australians, collaborating with elders to design the note.

So what does this change mean for our coins?
