Kia Sorrento GT Line SUV: absolutely loaded with features
In large SUV’s the Kia Sorrento is the 10th best seller out of 20 models in the segment. The latest Sorrento has been highly acclaimed with Kia’s 7-year warranty and fixed price service plan adding appeal. KIA recently added a top-spec GT-line to the Sorrento range – a flagship seven-seater absolutely loaded with features and equipment – so much so that at $58,990 its nudging some of the prestige German SUV’s in price. Such has been the elevation in quality and design at Kia that it holds its head high in that company. Based on the all-wheel-drive 2.2-turbo- diesel chassis and eight speed automatic the GT-line is a very well sorted driver like the rest of the Kia Sorrento diesel family but whilst its loaded with features like dual zone air, ventilated 8-way power front seats, full leather and a power sunroof it’s still a Kia. At this level, nudging the prestige market, buyers to my way of thinking are starting to look for a more prestigious nameplate. I’m David Berthon
