Queensland Assistant Coach Josh Hannay says he was blown away by the performances of the Maroons four debutants in their State of Origin victory on Wednesday.

Selwyn Cobbo, Reuben Cotter and Pat Carrigan all ran for over 100 metres, while Jeremiah Nanai made a heroic return after he suffered an ankle injury.

The Maroons take a 1-0 series lead into game two in Perth on Sunday June 26.
