Peter Jennings, executive director of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), joins Michael regarding Prime Minister Scott Morrison soon to hold virtual talks with US President Joe Biden and the prime ministers of both India and Japan in the first-ever leaders’ meeting of the Quad.

Reuters has reported the Quad group of countries plan to announce financing agreements to support an increase in manufacturing capacity for coronavirus vaccines in India.

Though not a formal security alliance, it is reported that Beijing still views the grouping with suspicion.
