Jim Haynes’ not-so-famous Aussie characters

Mike Jeffreys

Michael is joined each week by Aussie historian, author & entertainer Jim Haynes, for his unique knowledge of the not-so-famous characters from Australia’s history.

This week Jim shines the spotlight on Roy Rene – ‘Mo McCackie’

Roy Rene, born Henry van der Sluys born on 15 February 1891 at Hindley Street, Adelaide, was the Australian comedian and vaudevillian.
