It’s okay to not be okay – Having open discussions about mental health

John Stanley

It’s no secret that mental health continues to be a significant issue for Australian men.

On average, seven Australian men take their own lives every day and one in five  experience either depression and anxiety.

Yet despite these troubling realities, blokes still struggle to open up about their feelings.

John chatted with the CEO of Mood Tea, Chris Freel and creator of the Boys Don’t Cry campaign, Simon Lee about the importance of asking for help when you don’t feel okay.

All profits from Mood Tea fund youth mental health initiatives through charity partners. It’s a tea that tastes good and does good. Go and buy yours now at your local Woolworths store or visit mood.org.au.
