Mike Jeffreys

Mike is joined by Dr. Joe Kosterich, a General Practitioner, to discuss the popularity and efficacy of vaping as a method to quit smoking.

Australians risking fines to quit illegally is supported by AIHW data indicating a decline in smoking and a rise in vaping (2019-2023). Despite a 95% harm reduction in vaping, government policies make quitting smoking harder.

The delayed government legislation, post-Dunkley by-election, raises questions about its priorities.
