Mike Jeffreys

Michael is joined by Roger Montgomery, Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Montgomery Investment Management, for his view on what’s going on with the share market and stock markets globally.

Yesterday the ASX came off strong, but that was off the back of seven straight days of gains, creating one of the quickest bull market recoveries in the history of the ASX.

All of this of the back of what is basically some pretty ordinary economic news; including concerns that unemployment will go up and remain well above 6% well into next year / September/October will very likely a fiscal cliff take place where government money in the form of job keeper dries up / bank mortgage lending holidays evaporate / rent holidays are no longer legally applicable… so suddenly many Australian’s will be unemployed, out of money and have their hand out.
