Is it the real ‘Stone of Scone’ or just a dirty rock in a Glasgow pub?

King Charles is awaiting the arrival of the ‘Stone of Scone’ to be retrofitted into the Coronation Chair for his big event on May 6 in Westminster Abbey. But there appears to be some doubt as to where the real ‘Stone of Scone’ is located right now. Some say in Edinburgh Castle but the regulars of the Arlington Pub in Glasgow reckon they’ve got the original thing and they’re not giving it back! Journalist Tony Wright has delved into the history of this famous stone and shares his findings with Michael McLaren. If ever there was a good yarn for a Monty Python script this would be it.
