The home of irrigation in the New South Wales Riverina is getting a much needed upgrade.

Designs for the work in Yanco are being completed, as part of the $348 million modernisation of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation network.

Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield spoke with Murrumbidgee Irrigation Chief Executive Brett Jones.
