Inner West Council will trial ‘play streets’

Michael McLaren

Pauline Lockie, Independent Councillor for the Stanmore ward of Inner West Council, explained to Michael that two streets will be chosen to road-test the concept from April or May which will see the streets fully or partially close to through-traffic for two to three hours on a Sunday afternoons.
