Hyundai tops customer sales satisfaction survey

Some interesting results from car industry analyst J.D. Power this week – the release of their Australian Sales Satisfaction Index – an independent barometer if you like of car companies performance through the dealership end of the buying process – the car showroom – the critical area where the very treatment of a prospective buyer is paramount. On top of the survey for the first time was Hyundai scoring 827 out of a possible 1000 with Kia close behind while Holden and Ford both lifted their game and were only points behind. Six factors make up the score – salesperson 19 percent, the deal 18 percent, delivery timing 19, delivery process 17, dealer facility 16 and sales initiation 14 percent. The top performance of Hyundai and Kia reflects their growing reputation amongst an ever-increasing ownership base. Sharp deals and impressive new models have no doubt helped the Korean marques while Holden and Ford with diminished sales as they exit local manufacture have both had to lift their showroom experience.
