How to give kids an end of year digital detox

Bill Woods

As the year comes to an end, work demands are at their highest, social schedules are crazy, parents’ mental loads are buckling, school is wrapping up, scheduling is a full-time job, and children (and everyone else) are exhausted – which means – their ability to listen and regulate behaviour is running on empty.

More time on devices can be leading to more play fighting, rough hands at Kindy, difficulty getting to sleep, and poor appetite in the tired little minds and bodies of our kids.

Bill Woods is joined by Michelle Worthington, Children’s Author & Screenwriter, on how to give your kids an end of year digital detox.

“Try a digital detox with no devices for one hour before bed and read them a book instead”, says Ms Worthington.

“It will be healthy and helpful for the whole family.”
