Honda set to debut a striking all-new small HR-V SUV early next month
It’s been a while since we’ve had a new model from Honda and the imminent arrival of the third generation small HR-V SUV is eagerly awaited.
Honda released details of its third generation HR-V this week, with coupe like styling its due in showrooms early next month in two model grades including a dual-motor hybrid power train. The entry level Vi-X features Honda’s 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, the high-grade e-HEV hybrid offering two compact electric motors working alongside a 1.5-litre VTEC petrol engine, the combination offering three drive modes Electric, Hybrid and Petrol.
Photos show this new HR-V to be good looking with more sophisticated styling and a stronger stance sitting on a longer wheelbase with improved second row leg room, Honda claiming it has the company’s latest safety and driver assist technology, several chassis and suspension improvements and a unique Air Diffuser System to improve passenger comfort.
