Heavy rains a nightmare for farmers

Michael is joined by Tony Mahar, National Farmers’ Federation Chief Executive Officer, about the current record breaking rainfall across NSW, which has also extended over South Australia that is proving a nightmare for farmers.

 

Having enjoyed near ideal conditions throughout the growing season, east coast grain growers are enduring a torrid harvest period, with record-breaking November rain likely to cause significant damage to winter crops yet to be harvested.
