Coined by researcher David M Levy in 2011, this metaphor illustrates our brains as overwhelmed by information akin to bouncing popcorn kernels, causing stress and restlessness.

The theory proposes that our minds, influenced by constant technological stimulation, now mirror its fast-paced, ever-changing nature, leading to heightened mental strain and perpetual distraction.
