Granville Train Disaster: 45 years on from an officer at the scene

On the 18th of January, 1977 the nation was shocked and grieved together after 83 people lost their lives and over 200 were injured.

The Granville Train Disaster memorial wall now stands with the names who passed, giving those involved a place to mourn.

One of the police officers on duty that day Chief Inspector Gary Raymond joins John Stanley to share his memory of that day, and what we’ve learnt since.
