Government cracks down on Sydney Airport slot hoarding

The Federal Government plans to crack down on slot hoarding at Sydney Airport, open opportunities for new airlines, review its travel policies, and enhance passenger rights to improve Australia’s airline industry.

The aviation white paper, released Monday, outlines 56 initiatives for a more competitive, sustainable future, but RMIT Aviation Academy’s Lea Vesic tells Clinton Maynard he believes it lacks a robust long-term vision and calls for better addressing skills demands by empowering training providers.
