Goat boom
The value of Australian goat exports could double, with a specialised abattoir now in operation in North West New South Wales.
The Bourke facility, pictured below, has cost more than $60 million and is exclusively for the export of goat meat.
The industry is booming at the moment, with Meat and Livestock Australia figures showing goat meat exports growing by 28 percent in 2017, to $257 million.
