Gary walks from Vaucluse to Canberra supporting St Vincent’s Hospital

Mike Jeffreys

Luke speaks with Gary Myers, who is walking from Vaucluse Lighthouse to Government House ACT, to raise money for St Vincent’s Hospital.

Gary set off on his walk today at 1am and is expected to arrive at Government House Canberra on Thursday, 2 March… and will be greeted by His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia.

This walk is a challenge that is very close to Gary’s heart. In 2018, Gary experienced two very unexpected and frightening heart attacks. Having been rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, where he was treated by specialist cardiologists, Gary has not only survived, but is now thriving.

Still under the ongoing care of his cardiologist and healthcare team, Gary is walking, swimming, and making the most of each and every day.

If you’d like to help Gary raise $100,000 for St Vincent’s Hospital, do you can so using the link below…
