Foundations laid for huge grain crop

Rural News

More than 22 million hectares of farmland have been sowed with grain crops, paving the way for a bumper harvest this year.

It’s 25 percent more than 2019, and is 12 percent above the 5-year average.

There’s been increases in wheat, canola, and barley plantings.
