Another busy week for the Government – battling with the Djokovic saga, availability of Rapid Antigen Tests and new Covid isolation rules along with other issues emanating from National Cabinet.

Nine’s Federal Political reporter Fiona Willan dissects the news of the week in Canberra following the National Cabinet meeting.

Even before Parliament resumes, the pressure is on the Prime Minister from many different fronts, with people still struggling to buy Rapid Antigen Tests and the new rules around essential workers isolating. It seems unlikely that the RATs will arrive in time for the anticipated date for concession holders to get their first ten free.  Next month it should all calm down as parents need tests for children going back to school.
