Farmers to fight Shenhua

New South Wales farmers say the fight is far from over to stop Shenhua mining the Liverpool Plains, after the state government announced it’d buying back 51 percent of the company’s exploration licence.

Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with Andrew Pursehouse who’s a landholder beside the Shenhua Watermark mine to find out more about the local reaction.
