Farmers 26,000 workers short

Rural News

Australian fruit and vegetable farmers are facing a labour shortage of 26-thousand workers and there’s no plan to fix it.

The study completed by EY predicts the casual labour gap will increase from November.

The Federal Government is today announcing a plan enticing those on Job Seeker, Job Keeper, and Youth Allowance to work on this year’s harvest.
