Dry spell hits Winter crop

Well below average Autumn rainfall has seen the total winter crop planted forecast down by four percent to 21.1 million hectares.

Wheat is forecast to fall by around 2 percent, while 4.3 million hectares of barley is expected to be put in the ground.
