Drought continues to bite dairy farmers

Record farm gate prices for dairy farmers, are being spent as quick as they’re coming in on high input costs.

Australia milk production fell by 6.9 percent in the season to August, as a result of low rainfall, cost pressures and herd reductions.

Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with Dairy Australia Senior Analyst John Droppert
