BlazeAid volunteers who have been working for weeks in the Queensland communities in the North Burnett have to start again, after all of the newly-erected fencing was washed away in the latest flood event.

They’re also preparing for a big effort in the Lismore area in Northern New South Wales – where some farmers have lost entire herds of cattle.

Rural reporter Gail Watson caught up with BlazeAid co-founder Kevin Butler, about how people can help out.
