Dennis Shanahan wraps up a chaotic last week in Parliament and points towards the 2022 Federal Election
A hectic last week in Parliament and Chris and Dennis chat about the issues that made the news – Anthony Albanese has released a 2030 carbon emissions cut target of 43% and now has to defend the target, the actions and promises all the way to the election. Parliament ended 2021 with a bang as Coalition MPs and Senators crossed the floor Faced with allegations from his former lover of physical abuse, Alan Tudge stepped aside this week as Education Minister. The economy contracted by 1.9% because of lockdowns in Sydney and Melbourne which Labor blamed on Scott Morrison. The nomination of a March 29 Budget is a clear pointer the Government intends to have a May election. Dennis is now resting up until Parliament resumes next year!
