Creative Industries Comeback: Students Turn Passion into Careers

Australian tertiary institutions are experiencing a creative arts resurgence, with more young graduates pursuing passion-driven careers. 

JMC Academy, a leading creative industries institution, has seen a 38% increase in national applications over the past year, with Entertainment Business Management up 53%, Film up 49%, and Music up 44%. 

Clinton is joined by graduate turned music producer, Lewis Mitchell, who attributes this rise to students seeking fulfilling careers, possibly influenced by witnessing family members’ work-from-home experiences during COVID. 

Many graduates are now prioritizing passion and wellbeing, leading them to creative arts careers.
