Could therapy dogs join classrooms?

After an extended period of home learning during the pandemic, returning to school has been a daunting experience for some of our kids.

Now one company is making it a little easier by introducing dogs into the classroom.

Director of Therapy Dogs in Education Amy Hodgkinson says having dogs in schools has a calming effect.

She says dogs are even being used in high schools as a means to calm nervous students completing oral presentations.
