Christmas meats on the table as restrictions eased

Meat processors are welcoming an easing of workforce restrictions, but are warning there’ll continue to be impacts on the supply chain until the workforce is back to 100 percent.

Abattoirs and meat processing facilities in regional Victoria have moved to 90 percent of normal capacity, and 80 percent in Metropolitan Melbourne.
