Chris talks with Wendy Lanski, a September 11 survivor!

Luke Grant

Wendy Lanski relives the moment she thought an earthquake was happening in New York as the World Trade Centre shook on that fateful morning. One minute she was getting ready for a workday on the 29th floor of the World Trade centre, the next she was fleeing for her life. With water pouring down the stairwell and people joining in on every floor, she tells of the struggle to get out of the building with a mass of shattered glass flying through the air. Although emotional about the loss of lives, including her best friend, she is determined that this disaster will not define who she is and feels it is her duty to share her remembrances anytime she’s asked about the terrorist attacks that unalterably changed our nation – and, especially, of the many brave, selfless and kind acts displayed that day.
