Cautious optimism about agriculture visa

Farmers are cautiously optimistic the agricultural visa will help fill the seasonal worker shortage.

As part of the trade deal with the UK, Britts will no longer be required to spend 88 days working in regional areas as part of visa requirements.

The government in turn is dusting off plans for an Agricultural Visa, with the visa to be first made available to those from the UK and ASEAN by the end of the year.
