Canegrowers WTO action heats up, as harvest nears end

With threats of La Nina and an increased storm season in the background, cane growers are on the verge of finishing the harvest before the rain arrives.

It’s estimated the crop will be about 31 million tonnes.

The industry is also eagerly awaiting Australia’s World Trade Organisation against Indian subsidies, that sent global prices tumbling.
