Souths Sydney star Cameron Murray gets to enjoy a week off with his teammates after they outmuscled their more fancied rivals Penrith in the qualifying final.

Murray has been relishing his role at lock forward, and cites the input of master coach Wayne Bennett for the team’s late-season form.

“You just don’t want to let him down. He’s always there for you, he’s always sticking up for you, he really cares about you as a person and you just want to go out there and do your best for him every week.”

South Sydney will meet the winner of Manly and the Roosters.
