Cafe shutdown see avocado glut

As the nation’s cafes and restaurants deal with the coronavirus shut down, avocado growers are reminding us we can have smashed avo on toast at home.

Between 10 and 20 percent of all avocados grown in Australia are purchased by the food services sector.

Rural editor Eddie Summerfield caught up with Avocados Australia Chief Executive John Tyas:
