Brace for another La Niña

John Stanley

The odds of a third sodden summer in a row have shortened now that the Bureau of Meteorology has declared a La Niña alert. John Stanley speaks to Matthew England, Climate Scientist at UNSW.

They speak about the chances of Australia’s East Coast being hit with another La Niña this summer, and if it is likely, we will see more La Niña events in the future.

Matthew also explains the science behind predicting these type of weather events.
