BMW reveals its fastest most powerful electric model to date

On Thursday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas BMW showed off its most powerful and fastest electric vehicle to date – the iX M60 SUV. Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of BMW’s M performance brand the iX M60 is claimed as the ultimate electric driving machine – developing up to 455kW and a massive 1015 Nm of torque it can accelerate to 100km/hour in just 3.8 seconds.

Range is quote at 566 kilometres. BMW Australia will launch the iX M60 along with another M brand model, the i4 M50, around mid-year. Also shown by BMW at the Las Vegas show, future technology that allows you to change the exterior colour of your car at the touch of a button – why not match the car to the outfit you’re wearing on any given day. BMW recently reached the 1 million production milestone of electrified vehicles and claims it will pass the 2 million mark within two years.
