Bastille Day used to relaunch French Film Festival
Today the Alliance Française French Film Festival relaunched for its 31st season. After having to prematurely close due to COVID-19 the Festival is back and it’s opening coincides with Bastille Day.
Known as Fête nationale in France, the day celebrates the storming of the Bastille, which was a military prison. The uprising helped usher in the French Revolution.
