Basin rail upgrade issues handballed to future governments

The Victorian Government has been accused of treating those in west and north western parts of the state as second rate citizens.

Standardisation of the Sea Lake and Manangatang has officially been ruled out by transport minister Jacinta Allan.

It will see trains on the Mildura line only able to access Geelong and Melbourne via Ararat, with no access to Ballarat.
