Barossa Valley wine makers hoping to overcome volatile weather
Wine yields in the Barossa Valley are expected to be down this year as a result of volatile weather across the growing season.
Frosts, lightening, and extreme heat have tested wine grapes this vintage, with the first of the region’s Shiraz grapes to be picked in late February.
Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with Barossa Grape and Wine Association Viticultural Development Officer Nicki Robins.
