Australian Pork Limited is setting itself as an agricultural leader in sustainability and environmental outcomes. By 2025, APL is aiming to reduce carbon emissions by 69%, water use by over 60%, maintain zero waste by 2025 and continue to act as animal welfare leaders. Mitigating and utilising waste from energy will see Australian production become the most environmentally friendly in terms of global warming potential worldwide.The Two Murrays spoke to APL CEo Margo Andrae about their goals.
