Aussies treated to Christmas Star

There’s romance in the sky tonight…

For the first time since 1623, Jupiter and Saturn will kiss – and form what’s known as the Christmas star.

The Great Conjunction won’t happen for another 60 years, with the planets this close together.

Astronomer Fred Watson spoke to Bill Woods about the event, and the best vantage points to see it.
