Api Koroisai: “Looking to make different memories”

The 2021 NRL Grand Final is set.

The Panthers will take on the Rabbitohs in a match-up for the ages.

There’s a number of storylines as the big dance approaches, but for Panthers hooker Apisai Koroisau it’s familiar territory against his debut team.

Having been a member of the 2014 Premiership-winning Rabbitohs team, Koroisau now looks to win ring number 2 against his old team.

“It’s definitely a strange feeling, winning your first premiership with (Souths), the club you debuted for.

“I’m looking to make different memories with the Penrith Panthers,” Koroisau says.

With a week of the spotlight on the two sides, Koroisau says coach Ivan Cleary said to take it all in.

“The first thing he said was just to enjoy it, it’s one of those weeks that don’t come around very often,” says Koroisau.
